Wood floors sell like hot cakes. Many people prefer wooden floors because of expense factor and low maintenance element. In such case, one needs to care it like the oiled ones. Try not to use too much of water because these floors are not very good at handling moisture. In case, floor is oiled then opt for floor cleaners and clean them with paste or liquid wax.
Use a soft bristled broom for daily cleaning. Once a week, try using vacuum cleaner. But be careful while using it as it can leave scratch marks. Alternatively, you can make your own homemade cleaning product. All you need to do is to half a cup of white vinegar to a bucket of water. Use dry damp mop for spilled water. Try not to wear high heeled shoes and don’t drag furniture because of possiblity of scratch issues.
