All parents are excited about the birth of a new born baby. Apart from the initial excitement, there are a zillion things that parents have to do like buying his or her clothes, baby naming ceremonies and even designing room from a new born. The whole idea of decorating room for a new one is really exhilarating. And preparing your baby’s room is important because it will be his or her home for the coming years. 

Apart from all the decoration, you also need to take care about the safety aspect of the room. It is advisable that you should plan your baby’s room in advance because parents get very busy after the baby’s arrival. These safety measures include placing the baby’s cradle in a proper place away from the cupboard and table where it is not possible that something may fall into the cradle.  It is also advisable to keep the cradle away at a distance from the windows, door and air conditioner.

This is to avoid direct gush of wind or air which may give your baby a cold. While decorating the room also make sure that there are no sharp edges or even sharp objects in the room. As a safety measure you can also plan investing in a wireless monitor so that you can keep a watch on your baby and work around the house.

As far as decorating new born baby’s house is concerned, you can paint the walls with famous fables and their characters, put danglers and decorate the room with soft toys, and keep the furniture to the minimum so that there are less chances of the baby being hurt. All in all, just plan things in advance and keep the basic safety precautions in mind.
