A lot of us love change. Looking at the same old mattresses, furniture and same old curtain may give some sort of boredom. This is the time when you can redecorate your house and bring that charm back. Even small changes like shifting furniture in your house can be a great welcoming change.

You can also paint your walls again. You need not paint the whole house. Even painting a single wall can transform your place to a great extent. Even painting the entrance of your house again in a bright light can be quite a welcoming change for you as well as for the guests that come at your place.

Another thing that you can do is change the colour scheme of your room. Select one colour for a certain room and use home decorative pieces and accessories in that same colour. For example yellow sunflowers can compliment with yellow walls and yellow mattresses.

In case you do not want to buy frames or invest in paintings or wall hanging, you can even frame some fabric or old saris with lovely borders. You can also pick up some pots and paint them yourself to decorate your room. Apart from this, you can also choose contrasting colored curtains to add colours to your house. Bean bags and carpets add a quite lavish feel to your home.

While redecorating the house, make sure that the theme of the house either remains same or is changed completely. This is because if you will change some things change them in such a way that they are in sync with the theme and do not look out of place.
