Any guesses about which one is the easiest room in your house to decorate? Yes, the answer is simple and its bathroom. It is also the cheapest part of your home décor. Having a beautifully decorated house can add tremendous value to the house. Don’t assume that, it’s just bathroom and what’s the point in giving it so much importance. Believe it or not, when a guest arrives at your place, he is more likely to be influenced from the way you have decorated your bathroom instead of getting awestruck with your hall and bedroom. It also gives a glance into your personality like how meticulous you are, your tastes, preferences, attention to details etc. Just purchase few materials and use your imagination and your bathroom will be all set for royal compliments.

Besides the walls, the biggest source of color in your bathroom is shower curtains. Prefer a solid color with nice design. It brightens up the bathroom. The place will look much better if the shower curtain pattern color matches to the color of the walls. Both should complement each other. If you want to make your bathroom appear larger then use light colors. The floor rugs should match the towel colors. If the bathroom is large, place rugs by the sink and toilet else just use one in front of the bathroom. Spend some on new towel racks. Racks should be of similar style.

If the towels match the shower curtain then nothing like that. However, wall color and towel color should not be exact. Accessories are very important in enhancing the look of the bathroom. You can use soap dispenser, tissue holders and toothbrush holders etc for additional effect. Designer touches could be placement of candles on the bathtub corners or on the vanity. These steps will completely change the look of your bathroom and you and your visitors both, will be exclaiming, Wow!
